Here are just some of the things that the Audio Editor can help
you accomplish:

drive: allowing you to burn them to CD.
o Delete the annoying applause at the end of a song that was
recorded live.
o Apply audio filtering or effects to a music file in order to
make it sound better.
o Apply "VST" plug-in effects:
VST instruments and VST MIDI effects are not currently supported.
o Amplify a song that's been recorded too quietly.
o Fade out the end of a song.
o Graphic waveform window allows you to see a visual display of
your audio and zoom in or out at will.
o Cut-and-paste editing of your audio in the waveform window
o A large number of special effects/ filters such as Amplify,
Fade, Normalize, Reverb, Silence, Stretch, Low Pass, High Pass,
Low Shelf, High Shelve, and many more...
o Amplification and automatic volume normalization
o Edit all your MP3 ID Tags with amazing ease. It's MUCH more then
just a tag editor - a real management tool!
o Chop MP3 albums or large files into separate files
o Convert files to most any common format and/ or sample rate

Tour: the Audio Track Splitter...
The main screen GUI...

Hello World - I'm wanting
to learn how to easily split a large audio file into equal chucks
so I can deal with it easier within my audio editor or burn to CD!
* On the main GUI - click
the "File" button then select the "Open File -
Analyze via Equal Duration Tracks" option. Select the main
file you want to split. The software will process loading/
analyzing it into the wave form and the track listing.
* Take a look at the
"split points" (red lines) that determines where the
file will be split - do so by clicking the "Edit
Visually" button on the main GUI/ screen. This will make
visible the "wave form" screen.
A screen shot of the wave
form GUI that has the same file loaded as the screen shot at the
very top of this page (7tracks.wav): loaded to split the tracks to
equal duration of 10 tracks (user defined)...

* If you need to make
revisions to where the "split points" are then merely
put the mouse cursor on the line you want to relocate - when the
"cross/ move" cursor point shows you can drag the line
to the new desired location. Oh, by the way, there's a great
option to zoom in and out as you will - to better determine where
you want the lines/ split points. Also there's a handy "Track
Player" that will skip from track to track to more or less
edit via sound.
* If you want to add,, or
remove a split point then so by clicking the "Line -
Add" or "Line - Del" button on the wave form GUI.
Move to wherever you want a split point if adding a line.
* When we're happy with
where the "split points" are located - click the
"Hide Me" button which will make the wave form GUI
invisible and take you back to the main screen/ GUI.
* You are now ready to have
the software split, and save, the tracks into your selected target
location. Options to save as WAV or MP3 audio format - with an
array of sample rates to choose from. Click the "WAV Save: or
"MP3 SAVE" button to start the process.
If you select to save
as WAV - you will be present with these format/ sample rate
options...

If you select to save as MP3
- you will be present with these format/ sample rate options (as
well as the option and ability to auto add MP3 ID Tags ...

And how about this cool
option presented after your tracks are saved? You'll be asked if
you want the software to automatically optimize your saved tracks
for your MP3 Player or iTunes. If select YES - it will create a
folder named after the "ARTIST" tag and a sub-folder
named after the "ALBUM" tag. Handy to have your tracks
"at the ready" to transfer in an organized manner.

That's all there is to it
- Goodbye World!
Hello Again World - Now I'd
like to learn how to easily split a large audio file into chucks,
that the software has auto detected silence gaps. This was a
recording of a vinyl LP or well.. just a large recording!
* On the main GUI - click
the "File" button then select the "Open File -
Analze via Silence between Tracks" option. The software will
process loading/ analyzing (setting the split points anywhere it
determine "x" amount of silence) into the wave form and
the track listing.
A screen shot of the wave
form GUI that has the same file loaded as the screen shot at the
very top of this page (7tracks.wav): loaded to split at detected
silence points within the file...

* From this point = the
editing and saving process is exactly the same as described above.
That's all there is to it -
WOW that was easy - Goodbye World!
Hello World - I'm back!
This time I need to learn how to merge a bunch of audio files into
a large track (or album so to speak).
This process is pretty
simple - Click the "File" button on the main GUI then
select the "Open/ Select Files to Merge" option. You'll
be presented with a screen (screen shot below) that you can add as
many files as you want to merge/ append together. It is however
very important that you make sure that the total size of the
combined files is less then 2Gig - as that is the size limit
supported.
This is a great way to
create an MP3 Album from tracks you may have used a CD Ripper to
rip tracks from an Audio CD.
After the software has
merged your set of files - you can add lines (split points),
remove lines, or move them around to determine where you want the
file split (via the "Visual Edit" option). Be sure that
you have at the very least 2 lines (the beginning and the end)!

Hello World - I got all
that done - now how do I burn my saved tracks to an Audio CD that
will play in any CD Player?

This software offers a
very special way to easily write your saved tracks to an Audio CD/
What's so special about it you might ask? Immediately after you
save your tracks (files): if you click the "CD Writers"
button and select the "Audio CD Writer" option it will
activate the Audio CD Writer and automatically load your currently
set of saved tracks.
No hunting around to add one
track at a time and all that nonsense! It just does everything
automatically for you - life is good!
Click the "Burn"
button and it will do it's thing. TIP: have your CD-R loaded into
your CD Drive before activating this writer so that Windows can
"do it's thing". Depending on how you have your system
configured - Windows may try to do all things of stuff (when you
insert a blank CD into your burner) that's not wanted at this
time.
Hello World - It's me
again for more. What about writing my saved tracks to a Data
(or MP3) CD that I can use to archive (as data) or play in my CD
Player that supports playing this type of CD?

Same deal as burning as an
Audio CD (explained above) except this writer is used for either
archiving your files as data or creating an MP3 CD. Also supports
writing to DVD if you might want to for some reason.
Some other stuff you
might want to know...
* It is VERY IMPORTANT
that you elect to save your file "tracks" to a normal
"folder": please do not attempt to save to the desktop
(or a drive) as this will cause problems - saving to the 'desktop'
and/ or 'drive' is not considered an option!
* You can import :
MP3 and MP2 sounds
(*.mp3;*.mp2)
AAC and MP4 sounds (*.aac;*.mp4)
WAV sounds (*.wav)
OGG Vorbis sounds (*.ogg)
AIFF sounds (*.aiff)
Windows Media sounds (*.wma;*.wmv;*.asx;*.asf)
AC3 sounds (*.ac3)
ALAC sounds (*.m4a)
FLAC sounds (*.flac)
WavPack sounds (*.wv)
MOD music (*.it;*.xm;*.s3m;*.mod;*.mtm;*.mo3)
CD tracks (*.cda)
* You can export to WAV and/
or MP3 with an array of supported sample rates.
* You can configure the
following settings via the "CONFIG" screen

* You can manually rename
the tracks, on the main interface list-box, by clicking on the
default name and typing in your replacement text.
* The SAVE functions (to WAV
or MP3) will only save the tracks that you have
"checked". This allows you to be selective on what
tracks you want to save.
* Anytime you are in the
process of exporting/ saving your selected tracks and for some
reason you want to cancel this process - click on the status
screen to give it focus then press the "Esc" key of your
keyboard. This will stop the process as soon as it's done doing
what it's doing at the time
* By double clicking on the
track name (main interface) this will play the selected file/
track. Click the "STOP" button to stop.
* A cool option (or not) is
the ability to do an iNet search for the names of the tracks, of
for instance a vinyl album, of the recorded file. An example of
what might be your search
results is this site... After you have found the track names
you want merely copy and paste into a notepad file - do some
editing then "copy all". After that when you click the
"Paste Titles" button, on the main interface, it will
automatically paste what has been copied into the Wins Clipboard
into you loaded track list. NOTE: it may not save you any time but
you MIGHT think it's a cool option;-)
Tour: the Audio ID Tag Editor...

This ID Tag Editor allows you to ad or edit the audio ID tags
within a MP3 or WMA file. These are the "tags" that you
see displayed in most CD or MP3 Players.
Features:
* will load most any audio
file
* option to apply most any
ID tag including "cover art" - depending on if the file
format supports
* add or edit most any ID
Tag
Usage:
There's not much to it.
Merely select what file to load, fill in the ID tag fields, when
done - click FILE > SAVE MODIFICATIONS.
Tour: the Audio CD Ripper...

OKay - World. I bought an Audio CD, of my fav artist,
at Wal-Mart, and now I think I'd like to find a way to put these
tunes on my MP3 Player. Can you tell me how to do that with the
fancy dancey CD Ripper?
The CD ripper allows you to
rip audio CD tracks and save as WAV or MP3 format. Convert
audio CD tracks to disk to allow placement within your MP3 player,
create a MP3 album via the audio editor (eliminating the songs not
wanted) or create mix and match audio to burn on CD-R. Great for
creation of "mix and match" custom audio CD's!
Features:
* option to rip one or all tracks
* option to select what CD drive contains the audio CD. This is
done automatically but may need in case you have an audio CD
inserted in more then one drive.
* refresh CD option.
* set to what format desired (WAV or MP3)
* auto name the tracks via connection to iNet data base
General Usage:
* Insert the Audio CD into the CD Drive - the ripper will refresh
and display the tracks - if not, click to Refresh the CD
* Select by high lighting the track wanted to rip - or select to
rip all.
* Select where to place the ripped files via the "Target
Path" selection dialog box that will appear.
* Click the "Rip"
button" and sit back and watch the action! Your ripped files
will reside in the Target folder you have selected.
Tips:
When using the "CD Ripper": if you are connected to the
iNet you have the option of connecting the a free data base that
will "read" the CD and replace the Track number with the
actual track names (i.e. the song title). Do do so - click the
'RETRIEVE ALBUM INFO..' then wait for it to retrieve the info (if
any). This will rename the track number with the track song name(s).
Of course, you must be connected to the iNet for this to work.
It is always best to try to get the "album info" as the
ripper will then rip and name the tracks as the song title as well
as place the MP3 ID tags within the ripped file.
Tour: the CD Writers...
The CD writers allow you to write your files
to CD-R. Great for creation of "mix and match" custom
audio CD's!
Create a Audio CD that will play on most any CD Player or use the
data writer to back up your important files.

Tour: the Audio DJ Player...
DJ Player - All you need now
to mix music is a regular computer system with a sound card!
"DJ Player" provides you with a 3 track MP3 player,
tempo and playback rate control, cross-fader, option to insert/
play "samples" into your audio stream and just so much
more it's really hard to believe! You can automatically run and
fade/ mix a complete playlist of hundreds of songs for all night
parties.
As amazing as "DJ
Player" sounds, it's all as simple as clicking a mouse! Even
gives you the option to record your DJ session (in MP3 format) to
use for another time as well as many other powerful audio tools.
Pre-set Sample Player - ever
wanted to apply a sound like clapping, whistle, or a kiss to your
play stream? Well here you go.. activate the default samples
player via the "Pre-set Sample Player" button then while
your tunes are being played click any of these "samples"
buttons to insert that sound into the sound stream. I'm betting
that you'll get a big kick out of this very cool feature.

User-defined Sample Player -
activated via the "User-defined Sample Player" button of
the main interface. This is all most exactly what the above
sampler player is except it allows you to select the file to be
played (user defined sampler player). Gives the additional option
to "loop" the playing of the file as well as volume
control. Yep... it is very cool!
Oh, by the way - it will "remember" what file you have
selected to load into the Sample Players and reload at next
activation until changed.
