| Version update history...
The most current version of "Wave
MP3 Editor" is v2011.4 - published 07.20.2010
07.20.2010
- minor version number change (v2011.4)
- added a slider (function) to set/
adjust "record source input volume" on "Recordster
(a specialized tool)
- removed "WMA Stuff" tool - am
working on a replacement that will be released in the
near future. This tool's
supporting files were causing problems for some Windows 7
users. Will most likely just add this new tool (it's going to
be awhile before release!) to the "Special Tools"
page for download - if you want it you'll be able to download/
install it - as I don't really think many users even use it?
- bug revisions on the "Recorder
Widget" tool - some Wins 7 users were having a particular
problem with the "auto startup" function.
- revised a few things on the "Tune
Chopper" tool - nothing major.
- added yet 2 more "themes"
(including one that you can custom build) within the editor.
- added output and input volume sliders
(functions) on the editor's interface. Quite a few users
requested this feature to be put back - like in the older days
of the editor's history.
07.13.2010
- retained the same version number
(v2011.3)
- added a pause function to the "Recordster"
(recorder) tool
- added option (slider) that gets and
gives you the option to adjust the record source volume within
"Recordster".
- if you just want a "patch" -
download this file
and place it into the install path of Wave MP3 Editor PRO
(allow to overwrite) - if you prefer a full setup/ install of
the new version - or have any questions - please advise.
07.05.2010
- added functions to
"remember" what format and sample rate a file was
saved as
- added advanced "Recording
Automatic Gain Control" configuration options
The most current version of "Tune
Twister" is v3.7 - published 07.07.2010
- a "re-branded product" -
removed the specialized tools and reduced the registration fee
The most current version of "Video
Magic" is v1.7 - published 05.01.2009
The most current version of "Text
Transformer" is v4.1 - published 08.06.2010
- revised the interface - removed the
"skin": screen shot here...
- revised so can now make the interface
"full screen"
- now has the option to change font size
of text screen display
- corrected a bug in the
"print" function
Version
history, re-download and upgrade policies...
Our upgrade policy is simple
and straight forward. Version updates (Major and Minor) are always
free: all that's required to get the newest version is to email mb@code-it.com
with your request AND some "proof of registration". I'll
send you a personalized download link, in response to your
request, within 24 hours.
What is the difference
between a "MINOR" and "MAJOR" version?
Major version updates are defined by the first set of the version
number (i.e. V2010.4 - 2010 would be the major version number).
Major versions are released approx. once a year - they include
more features or an updated interface.
Minor version updates are defined by the second set of the version
number (i.e. V2010.4 - 4 would be the minor version number). Minor
versions are released to fix any bugs reported or other minor
updates.
What is meant by "proof of registration"?
Your order number, a copy of the registration conformation email or at the very least your
name, email address, date of registration and software title you
registered.
FAQ: "You say
you need some "proof of registration" for me to get an
update. Well... my computer crashed and destroyed my registration
conformation email so I don't have it. What now?"
ANSWER: First off -
you were strongly advised to backup the order number and
conformation email when you registered so as to receive future
updates.. THIS IS/ WAS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY! How to preserve?
Simply print out a copy of the conformation email and file it away
- this is good practice when registering any software! No (or
hardly any) software company will just give you a registered
version of their stuff without some "proof of
registration". Requests like "I think I registered about
two and a half years ago and probably used me@whatever.com or
mine@mine.com as my
email address..." just ain't going to cut it: will be
completely ignored.
FAQ: "I had
"v.what-ever" installed (or lost due to system crash)
then you gave me an upgrade to the newest version. The problem is
that I don't like the newest version as well. I want a download to
the older version. Why won't you supply it to me?"
ANSWER: You ask
for the update - we didn't solicit you doing so via any marketing
campaign; therefore, we think it was YOUR responsibility to check
out what revisions were made and determine if you really wanted
it: we are always available to answer any questions or concerns -
it's as simple as asking mb@code-it.com.
You were also strongly
advised to backup any setup file(s) after downloading - did you
ignore this advise? If you'd of done this you could re-install
what ever version you wanted.
We offer updates for a
REASON - being bug fixes, added features or complying with
compatibility issues. For us to supply you with an old version,
that we knew had issues, just wouldn't be right!
