So how
do I be creative with audio even if I can't play a lick - or better
yet if I can?
First
off - here's a little tutorial video - you might want to watch to show
you the basics of using "Overdub Mixer" (a specialized tool
included within "Wave MP3 Editor PRO") ...
Here's a link to the "mix" file in case you
might want to listen to it - it gives you a little insight on the
process and benefits of becoming a "mixer PRO" >>> the_mix.mp3
Now
that you've got your "mix" just right - maybe you want to
add it to your FaceBook wall/ page? We all know the the "spoken
word" is a much more powerful means of communicating then plain
ole vanilla text - don't we?
it's
easy as "pie" ( DISCLAIMER:
have you ever tried to make an apple pie from scratch?)
TIP:
it is best, but not required, that the audio file has been saved
as MP3 format - as this will make the file smaller and will
"stream" easier off the iNet. In fact as far as I know -
FaceBook only allows linking this type audio file - but I might be
wrong;-)
There
are a few "apps" that claim to make this process easier
but I find that keeping it simple (KISS) is the best way - so
that's the route I'm going here.
You'll
need to have your MP3 file hosted somewhere in the iNet
"Cloud". Either on your web site - if you have one,
a file hosting service, etc...
If
you need a simple solution to hosting your file - just send it
to me, via email (as an attachment) at mb@code-it.com,
and I'll gladly put it on my hosted server and send you the
link. No charge for this service;-) Please don't subject me to
any copyright infringements however.
Open
up/ log into your Facebook "wall" then click on the
"Link" icon (see screen shot below)
Enter in the full URL= i.e. http://www.code-it.com/the_mix.mp3
then add any description (of your file) you want your fans/ friends
to see.
That's
all there is to it - FaceBook will automatically add a little MP3
player (that plays your audio file) on your wall. Your friends
will be amazed at how creative and "tech savvy" you are!
Here's want it'll look like on your 'Facebook' wall...
